so, this weekend is my last wedding for the european summer before heading back for round two of summer in the fairest Cape ! italy will be the last fabulous country i round things off in. but before i say adieu, a special mention must be made to Tarryn Sutherland ! taz was my fabulous assistant for the london summer. she brought me loads of laughs, and always had my back { see pic }, and i truly loved having her with me. shooting this wedding for Sian and Rishi was a privilege, for which i am very grateful. i would have jumped through fire for them. they were clients you dream of . . . relaxed, trusting, appreciative, stylish, easy to photograph, an insane amount of fun, and they really made a huge effort to look after me. what more could you ask for ? the wedding was held on the magnificent coastline of Majorca, at the beautiful Cap Rocat. the angles and architectural lines provided such an inspiring location and backdrop for their wedding photographs. the wedding co-ordinators who transformed this once-was-military-fortress into the beautiful wedding you see in the pics below, are the infamous London power-house duo Javier and Tony of “By Appointment Only Design”. i loved E V E R Y T H I N G about this wedding. i loved that rishi’s parents { who are originally from Uganda } beamed happiness because their children were so . . . i loved it that Rishi’s brother lasted all of about 4 seconds before the tears appeared during his best man’s speech … you could really feel the love between these two brothers . . . i loved that Sian’s elegance and grace reminded me of a quote i once heard : “that ain’t a dress, that’s an Audrey Hepburn movie” . . . i loved that Rishi’s love for Sian was palpable . . . and most of all, i loved the energy between this special couple. enjoy the pics. { ps that “audrey hepburn” movie was designed by the one and only bridal couturier genius, Jenny Packham. }
